Submission Guidelines

The stories submitted must be no less than 1000 words in length, and no more than 2000 words.
The stories must be accompanied by a note by the author that the story is original, and has, in no way, been copied from anywhere. Stories already published on your blog/website are also not eligible for the competition.
The submission should preferably be as an attachment in MS Word format, with Arial 11-12 font and 1.5 line spacing, and should be mailed to contest@themag.in. However, attachments in other formats like RTF, Open Office, etc. will also be accepted.
The usage of poor grammar, spelling mistakes, and Internet lingo like gr8, ur, etc. will result in rejection of your submission.
The story must have a title, and must be accompanied by a brief bio of the author (which should consist of at least 150 words and no more than 250 words).
The stories will be published on the site first, and will be judged on the basis of their quality, and other parameters like votes, comments, Re Tweets, etc before they are sent to the jury.
One individual can send in no more than three entries for the contest
The decision of the jury shall be binding and final.
No entries will be accepted after the last date. i.e. 31st May 30th June 15th July, 2010
